This project consisted of comprehensive repairs and upgrades to the U.S. Army Garrison Headquarters, Building 303, at Camp Darby, in Livorno, Italy.

The south section of the ground floor, presently occupied by a conference room and various offices, was transformed into the Emergency Operation Center (EOC). This offers a centralized location for the management of emergency situations and operations, while adhering to new anti-terrorism/force protection security norms. The new design also provides an upgrade of communication and electrical systems to support command staff in emergency response coordination and operations. The new internal systems meet the last version of USAREUR Internal Cable Distribution System (ICDS) standards, while the upgrades of the building’s structure, architectural, plumbing, and mechanical comply with Italian as well as US norms-codes.
