Michael-Bruno was engaged to provide ground floor renovations to the Marine General Purpose Building, 447, at NSA Naples, Italy. The new design creates an open space concept for offices, a conference room, three enclosed general purpose areas and the re-arrangement of existing toilets.
The office space will be equipped with cubicles and furniture provided by the government. New carpet will be installed, while doors will be of wood and a main, security door of steel—to match the existing admin door. To reduce glare on computer screens, heavy computer use areas will be equipped with indirect lighting.
Both the men’s and women’s restrooms will have new floor and wall tiles, plumbing fixtures and countertops with sinks. The restrooms follow all code requirements allowing them to be handicap accessible. This building is handicap accessible; door handles are usable with one hand without needing a tight grip, pinching, or twisting of the wrist.
