The Society of American Engineers has selected Michael Sedge, president of the Michael-Bruno Group as a speaker for the annual Joint Engineering and Training Conference (JETC) to be held May 24-26 in Pheonix, Arizona.

“Over 100 abstracts were received,” said SAME organizers, “with an overwhelming response, coupled with high quality submissions. Sedge’s abstract “US Government Work in the International Environment” has been accepted and we look forward to his part in the education program.”

Each year thousands of companies enter the global marketplace thinking that because they are working for the US government domestically, they are qualified and understand the procedures and policities sufficiently to handle jobs overseas, according to Sedge. “This is rarely the case. My presentation at JETC will highlight some of the pitfalls of international work and ways in which they can be avoided.”
