Michael-Bruno, LLC, as design (A/E) partner of the Italian construction firm La Termica srl, is among the three teams to be awarded a NAVFAC EURAFSWA multi-award construction contract (MACC) for Naval Air Station Sigonella, Sicily.

"This contract will strengthens our long-term relationship with La Termica," said Michael Sedge, president of Michael-Bruno. "It is a relationship that spans nearly three decades of U.S. Navy design-build and nearly 100 successfully completed task orders, through various contracts."

The Sigonella MACC is a five-year, indefinate delivery, indefinate quantity (IDIQ) vehicle underwhich NAVFAC can issue up to
€20,000,000 in construction task orders.

In 2011, Michael-Bruno and La Termica teamed for the demolition of NSA Naples Hanger 405, which included asbestos and other hazardous material removal. The project won the NAVFAC EURAFSWA Regional Safety of the Year Award.
