This electrical study consisted of verifying the current state of the grounding systems at NATO’s Joint Force Command Southern Europe and developing “as-built” designs of the base-wide system. Our electrical engineers performed a series of tests including a three-chord voltamperometric, using an HT Italia model Geo416, to insure the grounding system’s resistance was compliant with European Directives on low voltage 2006/95CE (LVD) and directive EMC 2004/108/CE. The results were then verified using a Vemer Multitest VS100S meter. Also carried out were operational test of the differential devices to verify correct installation and the operation of current safety devices within the grounding system.
