Harris Corporation turns to Michael-Bruno for Navy SATCOM Support

In support of the DoD Modernization of Enterprise Terminals (MET) program, Harris Corporation has turned to Michael-Bruno for design, construction and logistical support at the US Navy SATCOM, Lago Patria, Italy.

Under the MET program, which provides the worldwide backbone for high-priority military communications and missile defense systems, Harris is replacing up to 80 AN/GSC-52, AN/GSC-39, AN/FSC-78, and other aging strategic satellite communications terminals around the world with new, simultaneous X- and Ka-band terminals capable of interfacing with the new WGS constellation, as well as with legacy satellite systems. The new terminals will support Internet Protocol and Dedicated Circuit Connectivity within the Global Information Grid, providing critical reachback capability for the warfighter.

In Italy, Harris turned to Michael-Bruno because of its vast military SATCOM experience for design, engineering, construction and logistical services.  Michael-Bruno has been providing design-build services for military satellite terminals in Europe and Africa for the past 13 years, including work for SPAWAR, DataPath, Arrowhead Global Solutions and Rome Research Corporation.

Michael-Bruno, LLC, is a U.S. small business with operations in Africa, Europe, and Middle East. www.mb-global.com
