Michael-Bruno teams with Envistacom to Receive GTACS Award

The Atlanta-based small business, Envistacom, announced today that its team, including Michael-Bruno, LLC, has been selected as an awardee of the U.S. Army’s Global Tactical Advanced Communications Systems (GTACS) and Services contract.

“Envistacom received both a restricted (Small Business) and unrestricted contract allowing the team to compete on all task orders,” said president, Alyssa Carson. “Michael-Bruno is a very unique and key partner for us; as they bring vast experience and expertise in the civil, the electrical, the mechanical, and the structural design and construction. They are outside plant and facility experts. They are the guys that dig the trenches and pour the foundations so that we can perform the telecom aspects of government work.”

The five-year, multiple award GTACS contract was competed in Large Business and Small Business Partial Set-aside for the design, development, acquisition, production, deployment, operation, maintenance and associated services for Program Executive Office Command, Control and Communications-Tactical (PEO C3T) systems hardware.

Headquarters CECOM Contracting Center issued 20 GTACS contracts; including 14 large and 6 small business awards. The total, five-year GTACS contract value is $10 billion.

“GTACS provides an excellent opportunity for Michael-Bruno,” said company president Michael Sedge. “Our company began and grew with government telecommunications. Today we are known throughout the sector as a specialized group that can be called upon for those unique challenges in areas such as Africa, where we are currently completing five projects. We are looking forward to fulfilling future needs of this type under the GTACS.”
