Joint Force Command (NATO) Electrical Cabin Upgrade Naples, Italy

Michael-Bruno was tasked to perform evaluation studies and upgrade implementation of nine electrical cabins in the Joint Forces Command (NATO) area-of-responsibility (AOR) to bring these up-to-date with Italian and European code.

Preparation of Programming Documents

Under this contract we completed field studies, followed by detailed, cabin-per-cabin designs, insuring that all upgrades and materials to be utilized met new norms for European electrical works. Michael-Bruno’s engineers then developed overall as well as detailed designs, cost estimates, and other documentation for the electrical contractors to perform the required work.

Following the initial study/design phase, Michael-Bruno was tasked to supervise the work-in-progress, insuring that contractor’s performance was as designed. Our team was also responsible for the safety procedures and practices in place.

The successful implementation of this contract ultimately lead to additional work from NATO’s Joint Force Command, including a €2M NATO Beach Resort project in Licola (west of Naples), along the western coast of Italy. Of this project, Giovanni Ruggiero, Acting Post Engineer, wrote:

“Under an extremely tight deadline, Michael-Bruno not only met the restricted schedule, but presented a project, complete with specifications and engineering studies, that exceeded normal standards.

“Your knowledge of NATO-specific design, engineering and construction methods is obvious in your work.”
